The Dance Show: November 2010 saw the first ever Dance Show at the NEC Birmingham, organised by Haymarket Exhibitions Ltd. We provided sound & video for the main stage as well as sound systems for four dance studios, and sound and lighting for the freestyle stage.
Greenbelt Festival: This long established festival was part of the diary for a number of years. Initially Mike was engineering on stage two, and then worked as one of the production managers, subcontracting to Event and Management Services. The festival is attended by 20,000 visitors and campers and takes place at Cheltenham Racecourse.
Green Basestations Summit: For this event, held in San Diego, USA, we designed and specified the set and all audio, visual & lighting. We then took the production out to tender and worked with the client on site to supervise local contractors and deliver the event at the prestigious Hotel Del Coronado.
St James Church: This sound and video installation was in an 11th century church where we had to install a 16 channel PA system and multi-screen video system as sympathetically with the building as possible. We used very discrete Electrovoice speakers, and a completely retractable video screen.
Debbie Clarke Concert: At the launch concert for Debbie's first EP we provided sound using our Martin Audio speaker system controlled by a 32 channel Soundcraft desk. We also provided a 24 channel conventional lighting system & rigging.
Soul in the City: This London wide event brought together thousands of young people from churches across London for a mixture of events and social action projects. Over two weeks we managed two outdoor concerts for over 2,000 people and provided sound for a number of other smaller events.
